Abstract

In this study, the authors tried to visualize the discussion structure of online deliberation about climate change adaptation with text mining. Aa the result of this, it was possible to identify 11 topics such as “factors of climate change”, “climate change adaptation in agriculture”, “disaster risk” and so forth. It was also clarified that the major topics of deliberation were “recognition of climate change” and “factors of climate change”, and suggested that the initial recognition of the participants influence on the content of the discussion by visualizing relationship among the topics by drawing network graphs.
