In Taiwan, the Rural Regeneration project has been implemented for 10 years since 2010 to revitalize rural communities. In this study, the actual situation of green tourism (GT) in Taiwan was clarified by deciphering the rural regeneration project plan of 832 communities. As a result, while the development of soft services was emphasized in GT resources, the promotion measures for lodge-type tourism in fishing villages were inadequate. Furthermore, from the multiple regression analysis of the distribution of farmhouse accommodations and tourism resources, we identified the factors that extend the staying time of tourists and propose GT development that encourages accommodation.
