Titanium mesh-embedded-mortar specimens, casted with mixing NaCl at a dosage of 0%, 1.5%, 3.0% referred to cement mass, were subjected to single and repeated electrochemical chloride extraction(ECE)treatments. This study was conducted to reveal the efficiency and the influence of repeated ECE treatment on the mortar characteristics. The results of this study show the changes in chloride content, Vickers hardness, and hydration products. The ECE treatment removes chloride approximately 10% and 30% of the initial chloride contents, for 4 weeks, from specimens casted with NaCl 1.5% and 3.0%(referred to cement mass contents)respectively. The Vickers hardness decreases after the treatment, particularly at the zone near the embedded titanium mesh. Repeated treatment causes more changes in hardness than that of single treatment in overall. Furthermore, there are changes of hydration products in mortar after the treatment. Portlandite increases especially at the zone near the embedded titanium mesh.
