かまいり茶用新登録品種「いずみ」について

抄録

Izumi is a new variety for Kamairitya -(Pan fired tea).
This is a progeny of Benihomare and was selected from the natural crossing seeds.
Izumi has fine flavor and nice taste for export to North Africa and especially fertile in yield. The yield of fresh leaf in a year is about 1000 kg. per 10 are.
This variety is vigrous growing and cold resistant but is susceptible to the Japanese Exohasidium Blight (Exobasidium reticulutum ITn et SAWADA).
