Abstract
The structures of the metabolites of Oospora sulphurea-ochracea v. BEYMA, compounds A, D, and F (dimethylosoic acid-I, trimethylosoic acid I and monomethylosoic acid), were proved to be diphenyl ethers (XV : R1=R4=CH3 ; R2=R3=R5=H ; R1=R2=R4=CH3 ; R3=R5=H ; and R4=CH3 ; R1=R2=R3=R5=H) and compound A was proved to be identical with asterric acid24) produced by Aspergillus terreus THOM. Other metabolite of the mold, compounds C and E, were respectively expressed by compound A monoacetate (XV : R1=R4=CH3 ; R2=R3=H ; R5=COCH3) and bisdechlorogeodin (XVIII : X=H ; R=CH3). Biogenetic sequence of these metabolites was discussed.
