Besides plantaginin, 1) a new flavonoid glycoside, homoplantaginin, m.p. 241∼242°(decomp.) or m.p. 219∼220/256∼258°(decomp.), was isolated from the leaves of Plantago asiatica LINNAEUS, and was found to be formulated as hispidulin 7-O-D-glucoside.
