Abstract

Cerbinal, yellow pigment having iridoid skeletal with Δ^{3, 5, 7, 9 (1)}-tetraene, and 10-formyl and 11-carbomethoxy residues, was isolated along with 10-carboxy-(cerberic acid) and 11-carboxy-(cerberinic acid) derivatives from the bark of Cerbera manghas L.
