Abstract
Reaction of diketene (1) with alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, and aryl organometallics proceeded under catalysis of nickel (Ni)- or palladium (Pd)-phosphine complex to give 3-substituted 3-butenoic acids (2a-k).
