Abstract
Five cis- and trans-eudesmanolide sesquiterpenes were isolated from Wedelia prostrata (Compositae) collected in Egypt and their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. The conformations of the trans-eudesmano-lides are discussed on the basis of their coupling constants in the 1H-NMR spectra.
