We have tried to modify the structure of imogolite by substitution with copper during its synthesis, and examined by mineralogical analyses for the resulted products from it. We have also measured activity for acetaldehyde adsorption on the products, as a preliminary examination for evaluation of their acatalytic activity for decomposition of VOCs through oxidation reaction.
