Schleiermacher study today, preoccupied to revision problems and systematic internal interpretation and structure of his texts, is almost indifferent to contemporary significance of his thought. So I would like to show the actuality of Schleiermacher philosophy. Especially to reveal the significance with respect to the current religious pluralism.
Up to now philosophy of Schleiermacher has been interpreted as a pioneer of the “experience expressive model”( G.A.Lindbeck), or “essential pluralism” ( J.Hick).
So, we consider the validity of such Schleiermacher interpretation. In addition, by focusing on his theory of language, dialectic lectures and theory of translation, but rather it is shown that close to the “fundamental pluralism”( J.B.Cobb) and “cultural language approach” in the typology of Lindbeck.
