抄録

The serum cholesterol lowering effect of trial margarines made of rice-bran oil enriched with vitamin B6 and calcium pantonate was observed.
The compositions of five kinds of the trial margarines were as follows:
No. 1. Rice-bran oil 75% & hydrogenated rice-bran oil (38°C).
No. 2. The same enriched with B6 1.5mg as daily dose.
No. 3. The same enriched with B6 3.0mg as daily dose.
No. 4. The same enriched with calcium pantonate 10mg as daily dose.
No. 5. The same enriched with calcium pantonate 20mg as daily dose.
Both No. 3 and No. 5 margarines enriched with B6 3.0mg or calcium pantonate 20mg were more effective than the other margarines.
