Food taking behavior on lunch was observed in a student lunchroom on 24 obese college girls and 18 thin ones, and the difference between the fat and the thin was discussed.
1) Between the obese group and the thin one, no significant difference was observed in selection of menus, the time till deciding the menu, the tendency to drink tea during lunch, use of flavors, selection of dessert, the time to take lunch, and the time leaving a table after lunch.
2) The leftover rate was obviously higher in the obese group than in the thin one.
