We synthesized the main chain type and side chain type liquid crystalline polymers. The main chain type polymer can be isomerized to trans form by I_2 doping. The trans type polymer exhibited a smectic phase, while the cis type polymer didn't show. We found that the ionic conductivity of the trans type polymer with lithium salt mixture at a ratio of 0.11 per repeating unit originated a nematic phase was larger than that of the cis type polymer with lithium salt mixture (0.11) The side chain type liquid crystalline polymer exhibited a nemactic phase. The mixture with the polymer and lithium salt 0.04 and 0.11 exhibited a smectic phase. The ionic conductivity of the higher content of lithium salt system showed the large ionic conductivity
