PD14 光ディスク用ピックアップへの液晶の応用(2)(フォトニクス・光デバイス)

抄録

We are investigating an optical head as a new application for a liquid crystal device (LCD). In this paper, we report that the spherical aberration caused by a cover layer thickness error can be reduced by using an LCD. This LCD has a new electrode structure to connect segment electrodes with high resistance lines. The optical disc cover layer thickness margin has been expanded using this LCD.
