Recent studies have proposed Li isotopes as a significant tracer providing constraints on the mantle heterogeneity and material recycling. We carried out in-situ analyses of Cpx grains in various mantle xenoliths using SIMS for the determination of internal standards. The results of high d7Li (ca. +5 ‰) values are consistent with that of MC-ICP-MS. On the other hand, Cpx grains of lower d7Li (< -11 ‰) indicate the variations in Li concentration and the d7Li value even in a single grain, which are not suitable for internal standards. Lower d7Li values and heterogeneity of Li in Cpx grains are suspected to result from the metasomatic fluid.
