Mid-Eocene granites in Sakhalin reveal a new period of juvenile crustal growth in Cenozoic Northeast Asia. In South Sakhalin, this study presents new geochemical and Sr-Nd-Hf isotopic data of granitic rocks from the Okhotsk and Aniva plutons. The genesis involved partial melting of mixed sources with dominant juvenile crustal components and mixing between mantle-derived magmas and crustal melts.
