Abstract
Methane gas (natural gas) is buried in large quantities that are said to be inexhaustible in Japan. It is less used due to difficulties in mining and transportation, and was widely used as propane gas (LPG) with low liquefaction pressure processed from imported crude oil. However, with the advance of transportation technology, imports of liquefied natural gas are increasing, domestic production is expected to spread rapidly as a fuel for transport machines replacing gasoline and diesel, which is representative of petroleum-based fuels due to dissemination of liquefied tank lorries. This research report has a serious disadvantage at a limit pressure of 20 MPa in a conventional metallic gas tank. The newly developed FRP tank is a high pressure, light weight, low cost automobile use spreading tank of 40 MPa
