How to improve the writing level of the undergraduate thesis is an important subject of “teaching and learning” in universities. Cao et al (2022, DOI: 10.50908/grb.1.0_16) aims at the present situation and teaching problems of thesis writing courses for undergraduates in Chinese universities, draw lessons from the Japanese Seminar teaching model, and puts forward three specific measures to improve “teaching and learning”. This paper makes a further discussion on the seminar teaching method.
