This article presents several key recommendations for future research in the fields of cultural geography and heritage conservation, aiming to address the increasingly complex challenges in cultural heritage preservation today. This article focuses on analyzing the potential of digital technologies in heritage conservation, the threats posed by climate change to cultural heritage, the importance of community participation and local knowledge, the urgency of protecting cultural diversity in the context of globalization, sustainable development pathways for heritage tourism, and the need to strengthen legal and policy frameworks to promote global heritage conservation cooperation. Through an in-depth exploration of these research directions, this article aspires to lay an innovative research foundation for the long-term protection and sustainable use of cultural heritage, providing practical references.
