Abstract
In the context of "Program and project management (P2M)", the practice of the program management is an intellectual activity to develop a procedure to solve the complex problem derived from the value creation proposition, by defining the program which comprises a structured framework of projects. It is important to provide a practical and fundamental technique for the profiling management which is the key element of the whole process of the program management framework for the value creation, by combining P2M theory and the practical knowledge derived from various types of successful programs. Two cases of the Renault-Nissan alliance and the broadband business by Yahoo Japan are discussed as the examples of typical program types.
