Abstract
In a society where complexity and uncertainty are increasing, professionals, who can open a new path to a sluggish society and lead the future by imaging an ideal and realizing as a business that makes the best use of the management resources, are required. For fostering such professions, the Graduate School of Project Design is founded, and the graduates have begun to play an active role in a wide range of fields. However, there are various difficulties in the process of expressing the ambiguous and ambiguous goal of the ideal future as a concrete value creation, planning and realizing as a business while bridging the gap between the ideal and the reality. In this paper, we assumed that the clue to overcome the difficulties lies in program management theory and explored the similarities between “project design” and P2M. We further suggested the possibility of academic development of “project design” by applying the idea of P2M.
