On The Policy of Regional Governments toward the SDGs

- From the Viewpoint of Bridging Functions to Change People’s Behaviors-

Abstract

I have researched the problem involved in combining Society 5.0 with regional activities, since Society 5.0 was included as one of the core policies in the 5th Science and Technology Basic Plan. SDGs, which were adopted for the UN Agenda 2030, have been joined with Society 5.0 and contributed greatly to winning the right to host-“the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo”-. A series of studies on the SDGs has been issued in this Society. Many works are found to combine the SDGs and Society 5.0 in business and academia, but, a few in regional public sectors. Regarding VUCA, Covid-19 is biggest one in the past year, This paper describes some activities in regional programs and offers some comments for the future.
