In Eastern Europe in the twentieth century, points which brought about the dramatic effect for the block injection was discovered. The point was variously examined by clinician and researcher. Travell of U.S.A. called it Trigger point (the following, TP), and systematized in the latter half of twentieth century. In the present century, TP is deeply related to the concept of acupoint, and seemed to come to offer the clue in which TP clarified the entity of acupoint. In present time, I want to examine the entity of acupoint from the aspect of TP phenomenon.
