Home visit dental service provides not only emergency dentistry but also oral healthcare and wellness by conducting regular and continuous visits. This activity may prevent not only dental diseases but also medical issues ex. aspiration pneumonia and malnutrition. Consequently, it may reduce the number of hospitalized and transported patients, and increase the rate of patients remaining at home after discharge. Therefore, it plays a significant role in community-based integrated care system in Japan. In order to provide high-quality and efficient services, we are using the business improvement platform "kintone" (Cybozu, Inc., Tokyo, Japan) to create a suitable system for on-site operations. This presentation will report the issues we faced before introducing the system and how we solved them by producing the system in-house.
