Abstract
The computer-aided teaching materials used in the microteaching class are developed by the number of students in a teacher training course. When they come to school for practical teaching, they use these materials in the class. Though the computers are personal study tools, the classroom activities here are done in groups. One of the student teachers carried out group activities using computers, and then did the teaching at junior high school through computer networks in the class. For this purpose, the system of collaborative learning on the networks in the classroom has been developed. This teaching material is developed for understanding the electric fields in physics, and constructed with following three functions; 1) promoting communication among students, 2) sharing the learning contents and results among all the members, and 3) presenting information for learning aids, for example the way to carry out experiments and that to measure the findings. With this study, the authors concluded that this material is very effective in teaching and learning.
