Abstract
The Japanese government puts emphasis on information technology for future development. Under this policy, every school will be installed computers and the Internet. Thus, educational media research is expected to play an important role in this situation. The author discusses issues of educational media research from the points of "digitalization of video", "on-line education", "diffusion studies", and "media literacy".
