Garnet barroisite schists in the Heilongjiang Complex from the Jiamusi Massif, northeastern China

The petrologic description of the newly found garnet barroisite schist in the Heilongjiang Complex from the Yilan area suggests two tectono-metamorphic events of high pressure type metamorphism, i.e. early blueschist facies metamorphism and late garnet epidote amphibolite facies metamorphism. The metamorphic rocks finally suffered the greenschist facies metamorphism.
