Ringwoodite is potential water reservoir in mantle. Its crystal structure has been well refined by X-ray diffraction studies except the hydrogen atoms. In order to determine positions and site occupancies of hydrogen, homogenous powder of deuterated ringwoodite were synthesized in large volume cell. A powder neutron diffraction pattern was successfully obtained; ongoing under Rietveld refinement.
