弱視のパラ水泳選手における競技環境としての大学水泳部
−大学水泳部員のパラ水泳選手に対する意識変容プロセスに着目して−

The purpose of this study was to determine the process of the change in the perception toward a para-swimmer with low vision in the non-disabled university swimmers by setting the para-swimmer’s training environment in a university swimming club. Hence, the non-disabled university swimming club members who trained together with a para-swimmer with low vision was examined. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 12 university swimming club members, and the data was analyzed using Modified version of Grounded Theory Approach (M-GTA). The result suggested that the perception of non-disabled university swimmers toward a para-swimmer developed through four stages: Stranger, Acquaintance, Companion and Teammate. In addition, it was suggested that a para-swimmer with low vision would benefit from the environment to train together with non-disabled university swimmers in the university swimming club.
