Management of Residents' Personal Information for Advanced services of Local Governments

Abstract

Local governments provide extremely various and versatile services. However, they have a lot of problems from the viewpoint of rationality of the procedure. In this research, we study ideal ways of the residents' personal information management. The ideal ways will achieve integrated and more sophisticated services on various aspects such as governance, strategy, efficiency and effectiveness. In this presentation, the current state of distributed management of residents' personal information at a local government is shown. And we analyze the relation between the nature of governments' services and the residents' information used for the services.
