An Analysis of Salesperson Qualities and Leisure Time Behavior

Abstract

Amidst the changing business environment, a new Human Resource Management method called HR Tech is spreading and is expected to improve work styles. Addressing work engagement and boundary management is essential to improve work styles. The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between the qualities of salespeople and their leisure time behavior. Using the data collected from the web survey, we conducted logistic regression analysis. The result showed that creative activities and self-development activities are related to the aptitude of salespeople. Another finding was a difference in leisure time behavior between those with high self-esteem and low self-esteem. This study revealed that the analysis of leisure time behavior is effective in understanding the qualities of salespeople.
