This paper introduced a new genetic algorithm operator, namely majority. Majority performs by producing artificial chromosomes which provide new search directions and new solution spaces. The chromosomes are therefore explore the spaces based on the best solution of the certain population and are compared with others using Majority rule (MR), The MR acts as a decision rule that selects one of the two alternatives, which has more than half of the votes. The improved GA has been compared to other previous appoaches by using MKP. Results show that new GA converges to better solutions.
