In this paper, we have presented an adaptive ensemble method for rainfall forecast. The ensemble is adaptive in the sense that the members of the ensemble are trained incrementally. In the proposed ensemble model, the output is a weighted linear combination of the outputs of the individual models. During the test phase, the ensemble model adapts this linear combination over time with the goal ofminimizing the prediction error. Before determining the weights of the base models, the models are ranked using least angle regression (LARS).
