This paper presents a mechanism of rain noise reduction based on Kalman filter for image processing. Conventional mechanisms of rain noise reduction are based on static rain condition. However, rain have stochastic phenomenon and move at high speeds under dynamic weather environment. This dynamic effect leads to that conventional mechanisms cannot be applied for real applications, since the rain and weather environment dynamically change from time to time. To overcome the above difficulty, a mechanism of rain noise reduction based on Kalman filter is proposed to reduce the dynamic effect.
