Convolutional neural networks (CNN) is driving advances in object recognition. In recent years, a general trend of CNN are built deeper and wilder that causes the networks being slow and high computational cost problem. Although the CNN leads high accuracy, it requires resource beyond an embedded system that has fixed resource. We propose a fine-tune network on embedded system for tactile object recognition. Experiments on tactile image using a random-dot type optical tactile sensor.
