The dents and scratches on the surface of used car body parts should be detected before they are reused. Existing manual detection methods have shortages of low detection efficiency and high false detection rate. This study proposes an image detection method based on focus control and Pattern projection. The method uses high-frequency structural light and through two photographs to shoot the dents and scratches on the surface of parts with high reflectance. Use neural network for semantic segmentation to detect dents and use image difference to extract high-frequency features to detect scratches.
