A wideband polarization-shared taper slot antenna is presented for radio astronomy telescopes. For this application, receiving both right- and left-hand circular polarization at the same time and the same phase center is required covering a wide bandwidth. Simulated results show the impedance characteristics covering for 500MHz to 1500MHz and the radiation patterns with almost a constant gain at 10 dBic.
