With the rapid development of IoT in recent years, there is a growing need for real-time processing of data generated on site. The purpose of this study is to accelerate computationally expensive matrix multiplication in image processing using FPGAs used as edge devices. In this study, we designed and evaluated a matrix multiplication circuit by streaming execution on an FPGA, and found that it is faster than processing by CPU only.
