準TEM近似をベースとしたミリ波帯マイクロストリップ線路のパラメータ設計式の評価

The 5th-generation mobile communication system uses millimeter-waves, and the next-generation systems are also supposed to use higher frequency bands. In this study, quasi-TEM microstrip-line formulas used in microwave circuit design are evaluated by electromagnetic simulation and measurement. The characteristic impedance and phase constant of a microstrip line are derived from the simulated and measured results using the parameter fitting, and they are compared with the conventional quasi-TEM microstrip-line formulas to examine the applicable frequency band.
