Abstract
It is required in many fields to grasp changes in the family structure. The authors attempted to make a model of the family cycle using the newest data. In this report, the authors state the way of forming the model and the results obtained.
The outline of the model is :
1. The marriages performed in 1950.
2. The mean ages at first marriage are different according to the number of children. (Table 1)
3. The birth intervals calculated are shown on Table 1.
4. The mean ages of death of husbands and wives are 73 and 78 years old respectively.
