A swollen, cavernous hemangioma was discovered in a female patient, aged 20, who came for a tumor grown in the mucous membrane of the left cheek. After ligatures were made around the hemangioma reaching the muscular layer to lessen bleeding, it was successfully extracted.
Further the authors gave a biblographical consideration to the predilection place, genetic relation and etiology of hemangioma.
