抄録

While estimating the introductory situation classified by region of the biomass energy as renewable energy in Japan, the technique of calculating the indicators about sustainability have been developed in each region in Japan. Energy demand and supply of renewable energies are compared according to the region (all prefectures, cities, towns and villages, etc.) in Japan by estimating a production of electricity and the amount of heat use, The method of indicators about the sustainability towards independence of region, such as improvement in the economic effect to the region, the reduction effect of a fossil fuel, and an energy self-sufficiency rate are investigated.
