In order to develop biomass fuel that are environmentally friendly and carbon neutral, taking into account the recycling of food manufacture waste discharged in Aichi Prefecture, we conducted thermogravimetric analysis of the fuels such as coffee husk, wood powder, raw coffee bean, and matcha tea, and calculated and compared the activation energy, frequency factor, and kinetic constant of each sample. As a result, it was found that coffee husk are advantageous in terms of activation energy and matcha tea is advantageous in terms of kinetic rate when carbonizing raw materials at 350°C in order to develop biomass fuel. However, it is also necessary to consider the properties of carbide for being pelletized, coked, and powdered.
