The performance of incombustible and safe BCC alloys as metal hydride (MH) compressor is evaluated by pressure-composition-isotherm (PCI) measurement. A low cost Ferrovanadium (FeV) alloy can achieve 25MPa at 200°C. However, the compression amount is only 0.8 wt%. V40at% alloy can achieve 30MPa at 200°C. The compression amount remains 1.3 wt% after 300 ab/des cycles. Solar heat is one of the important candidate as a heat source for MH compressor. In this study、 it is confirmed that thermal output more than 200°C can be obtained with a solar heat collector, where the solar correction efficiency is 31%.
