The purpose of this study is to consider the direction for developing human resources that will commit to solve local social problems through volunteer activities in a nature experience facility that an NPO is the designated administrator. Specifically, we conducted a questionnaire survey to the volunteers about "overall satisfactions and satisfactions of the various factors of the volunteer activities", "interest in social problems", and "awareness to activities for solving social problems". Based on the survey, we analyzed the relationship among these factors. As a result, we have showed that the satisfaction in volunteer activities influence the interest in social problems, that the interest in social problems influence the awareness to the activities for solving social problems, and that it is necessary to change the direction of the human resource development according to the differences in the level of interest and awareness of solving social problems.
