The change of electric resistance for alloys of the system nickel-cobalt at various tempera-tures ranging from -195° to 1150° was measured up to 1600 oersteds by the longitudinal magnetic fields. For the alloys of face-centered cubic solid solution, the change of resistance is similar to that of nickel, but for those of hexagonal close-packed solid solution, it is similar to that of cobalt. In the former class of alloys, the magnitude of the change of resistance is large, especially at low temperatures.
