Melt crystallizations of polymorphic lipids, SOS(sn-1,3-distearoy1-2-oleoyl glycerol)and POP(sn-1,3-dipalmitpy1-2-oleoyl glycerol),have been examined with a time-resolved X-ray diffraction using synchrotron radiation source. The main result is as follows: the formation of larnellar ordering of SOS and POP occurred more rapidly than that of subcell packing.
