This study examines the effect of visual motion cue location relative to NDRT content on alleviating motion sickness in moving vehicles. While visual motion cues can reduce motion sickness, their effectiveness varies, highlighting the need to identify key influencing factors. This study specifically investigates the cue location relative to NDRT content. An on-road experiment with three participants tested three conditions: (1) No Cue, (2) Cue Near, and (3) Cue Far. Vertically moving dots representing vehicle acceleration served as a visual motion cue displayed on a screen. Participants rated their motion sickness severity under each condition. Findings provide insights into optimizing visual motion cue designs to mitigate motion sickness in moving vehicles.
