Osteoma located in bilateral maxillary sinuses of a 26-year-old male student was found incidentally by orthopanthomograph. Three radio opaque masses were found in the left maxillary sinus and one in the right. Also, radio-opaque masses with mucocele were also suspected in the right. Both enucleated osteoma were surrounded by soft tissue.
Histopathological and X-ray diffraction showed that the calcified tissue in the tumor was matured bone tissue.
The patient had no evidence of recurrence at three years follow-up after operation.
